This is an extremely nice Alfa Romeo sport sedan with under 26K miles and factory air conditioning. It is a truly elegant and unique vehicle, which is in show condition both cosmetically and mechanically. This car has been garage kept, well maintained and pampered for its entire life. The cream (Avorio) paint is original as is the brown velour interior. The current owner, the car’s 3rd owner, has lavished a great deal of attention and financial commitment to properly care for, meticulously clean and maintain this automobile. The exterior, interior, trunk, engine, drive-train, under-body, suspension, brakes, wheel wells, tires and alloy wheels are all in immaculate, 9 plus condition. Despite its sophisticated, prestigious & luxurious appearance this is an absolute Italian Sports car. With its smooth shifting 5-speed manual transmission, the throaty roar of her 2.0-liter double overhead cam 4-cylinder engine and the large factory sunroof to provide the open air driving experience – this Alfa has the best of both worlds.

The engine has been slightly modified with European cams and Shankel Air Cleaners. The air cleaners coupled with the exhaust system give the car a very nice sounding "sporting growl". The original cams, cam cover & air cleaners also come with the car as does the original smog pump and catalytic converter. All flex joints and support bearing have been recently replaced and all of the fluids were just recently changed. The clutch and transmission perform as new. The air conditioning system has been thoroughly serviced, retro-fit with R-134a refrigerant and blows very cold. All mechanical services to this vehicle have always been performed by qualified Alfa Romeo technicians. There are various other mechanical parts that come with the car such as a set of high performance ignition wires. A complete list of included extra parts will be furnished upon request.

The sale of this car will also include many other 'extras' which are of importance to many collectors and enthusiasts. First of all, the car has a complete set of service records since new, as well as the original invoice and sales records. Included also are the factory owner’s manual, radio manuals, dealer listing in the original plastic slip cover, 2 original sales brochures along with sales articles, an original Alfa Romeo parts manual, a Brookland’s service manual, a new copy of "Alfetta" an Italian text about the cars and a copy of "Alfa Romeo: The Alloy Four Cylinder Cars" by Pat Braden. This is the actual vehicle, which was featured in Pat Braden’s book. Pictures of this car were used in this book on the following pages: (1) Right side view of the car, Page 65. (2) Interior front seats and dash, Page 66. (3) Engine (with original air cleaner), Page 164. A full list of all included documentation and literature will be provided upon request. Also, a chronological summary of the car’s service history has been prepared and will be supplied upon request. The 14" alloy wheels and Sumitimo 185/70 HR-14 tires which are mounted on the car are attractive and are as new. These wheels were a factory option for the ’79 Sport Sedan. Also included are the factory slotted steel wheels, hub caps, lug nuts and mounted 185/70 SR-14 tires with under 3,000 miles on them. Vehicle has new Koni shock absorbers, which are hydraulic red in the front and gas yellow in the rear. They are set @ "2" per Koni rep. instructions. Car comes with European torsion bars and springs in front & rear. Subsequently the height is moderately lower than normal U.S. models. It has a very slight decline toward the front that gives the car a beautiful aggressive stance. The original U.S. spec. torsion bars and shock absorbers also come with the car.

The plush, comfortable interior is in very nice, new looking condition - showing almost no wear except for a small amount on the shift lever. The original Alfa stereo cassette and original front door speakers operate well. The carpet is original and in nice condition. Front and rear mats protect carpet and are also in nice condition. The rear ashtray is missing from the console and we have not been able to locate a replacement. All instruments, lights and controls work as new. The windshield has a light scratch from wipers and has a small haze stain in the safety glass app. 1.5" in diameter. These imperfections do not hinder one’s view and are barely noticeable when driving. Vehicle passes Pennsylvania safety inspection and has a valid PA inspection sticker. The trunk interior looks new and doesn’t show the scrapes and scuffs of a 26-year-old sedan. Includes a nice, little Alfa Romeo accessory bag. The factory tool kit is missing.

The paint is the original and still retains its shine & luster. There are a couple of small and light scratches that are not very noticeable until close examination. During this production era, Alfa Romeo didn’t spend very much time and attention to their factory paint-work in the jamb areas. Hence, there are some factory-original runs and bubbles in the jambs and trunk area, which are only detectable upon close inspection. That is the way they were when new! Also, the rear valence and inner portions of rocker area (near jacking points) have some minor damages that were incurred years ago while being unloaded from a flatbed. These areas have been straightened out and touched up. Also, the hood appears to have been lowered onto an object at some point which poked a hole through the hood liner and broke an area of paint on the hood exterior. Again, only noticeable upon close inspection. Photo close-ups of these and any other specific conditions are available on request.

This car is a beautiful example of the traditional Alfa Romeo sport sedan. As it is set up it drives very similar to a GTV-6 with almost as much power but with better turn in and grip. Though it is a "soft colored" car, it always draws a lot of attention wherever it goes.

Übrigens ist mir zu spät aufgefallen dass das Ding in bei den Kriegstreibern steht. Von daher kann es sein dass da einer mehr als 2000$ bietet.

in italien gibts grad eine mit 63.000km klima usw um 4000
